Local Horror Family Show

A yearly edition to the KLUTZ family - the Local Horror Family Show graces domestic spaces, opening them up to the public for a performance extravaganza under the guise of a haunted house. A collage of exquisite surrealist imagery pieced together and inspired by the costumes, projections, objects, and performance material in the worlds of the “KLUTZ” trilogy, the Local Horror Family Show is part public service, part public performance art intervention, utilizing the special conditions of Halloween to engage public on common ground within existing traditions of ‘the spook’.

Performers from the trilogy cast join the cast of the Local Horror Family Show, as well as members of Romania’s family, artists local to the area, as well as out of town artists, who all work together in a multidisciplinary and multigenerational cast to bring the arts to small town America.
